Queer We Stand

Queer We Stand is a setting-agnostic game based on EMERGE8 SRD by Titanomachy RPG.

A game for two or more people, you only need some six-sided dice* (or a dice roller app or website) and a character sheet (included) to craft Queer stories together. Just bring your pride and your wrath with you! And maybe some snacks.

Run by a game master known as the Queer Talespinner (or QT for short), Queer We Stand is easy to pick up and quite flexible in its application. You can use any setting, genre and theme you want for the game, utilising the sheer force of your imagination to craft the stories that are right for you and your group.

Caveat

As per the caveat found in EMERGE8 SRD:

You are expressly forbidden from using this system to make games promoting racist, ableist, homophobic, transphobic, misogynist, Fascist, or any otherwise bigoted ideas.

Playtesting Copy

This game is in Playtesting Stage. This means it is the equivalent of 'Early Access' and has not been thoroughly tested for polish and gleam. It also lacks art, but it has a pretty rainbow gradient background so that's nice.

This game was created for the Queer Wrath Game Jam 2024 hosted by Titanomachy RPG.

* = Note that while EMERGE8 uses eight-sided dice, this game has been adapted to use six-sided dice. This is not a typo.

Acknowledgement of Country

This game was written predominantly on Gunaikurnai, Latje Latje and neighbouring Barkindji land, all of which was (and remains) stolen from its Indigenous people. 

The author, play-testers and editors of this book recognise and respect the traditional custodians and their Elders, past, present and emerging.

Sovereignty was never ceded. This is Aboriginal land.
