This Queer Village

This Queer Village is a setting-agnostic game based on the Carta SRD by Cat McDonald and Peach Garden Games.

You find yourself outside a village. 

Maybe it's a literal village nestled between a mountain and a stream, or perhaps it's a deck on a massive generation starship headed for another galaxy. Perhaps it's a tribal homeland or a neighbourhood in a high-tech futuristic city.

Either way, it's a new place to explore.

Caveat

As per the caveat found in the Carta SRD:

...Finally, Nazis, homophobes, transphobes,  and other bigots are expressly forbidden  from making new content using the Carta  system.  If you have to ask whether this includes  you, it does.

Playtesting Copy

This game is in Playtesting Stage. This means it is the equivalent of 'Early Access' and has not been thoroughly tested for polish and gleam. It also lacks art, but it has a pretty rainbow gradient background so that's nice.

* = Note that while EMERGE8 uses eight-sided dice, this game has been adapted to use six-sided dice. This is not a typo.

Acknowledgement of Country

This game was written predominantly on Gunaikurnai, Latje Latje and neighbouring Barkindji land, all of which was (and remains) stolen from its Indigenous people. 

The author, play-testers and editors of this book recognise and respect the traditional custodians and their Elders, past, present and emerging.

Sovereignty was never ceded. This is Aboriginal land.

Always was, always will be.
